Serum No5's Spring Into Love

I'm blown away by how much I loved this polish. I tend to like bigger glitters, but this floored me. And it's got me questioning everything I believe. It's got pigment, and holo glitter (yay!). This polish is also making me realize how much I love Serum No5. They've got an awesome formula that dries in no time, and they're super nice! This polish is perfection. There was full coverage with 2 coats but I slapped a third on just cause. I didn't even need a base color. My middle finger had no base color at all and it doesn't look any different from the others. Here's proof:
3 coats, 3 coats, 1 coat.

Rainbow Polish's Great Blue

Chunky glitter, you guys! The chunkiest! Rainbow Polish's Great Blue is made up of shades of blue, black, and silver holo. You've got hexes, stars, bars, and diamonds. The big hexes look like fish scales! My base is
Nicole by OPI's Respect The World, which was my first "high end" polish (aka cost more than a buck or two). It was like eight bucks, which was a lot, but I couldn't say no. This polish is about 5 years old. Great Blue's formula is fine, you will need to fish around a bit for the good stuff in there. ("Fish" around... Haha. Like fish scales. Moving on....) There's a bit of shrinkage going on in these pics, so ignore that. What do you think, could you see yourself embracing this loud glitter?

 2 coats, 2 coats, 2 coats.

F4's Glamorous!

Let's be honest. This polish is beautiful, fun, and exciting, but it's not really glamorous. I don't envision glamorous people wearing chunky glitter for some reason. But that's not to say I don't like the polish! I really do! It's gorgeous. Dry time was average, blinding power was above average. Seriously, this polish + sunlight = jesus. Glamorous has all sorts of sizes and shapes of silver and silver holo glitter. I wore it over Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Presto Pewter. I really enjoy using insta-dri's as base colors, the dry time is snappy and they're opaque enough so that I don't need many coats, which also cuts down on dry time. I'm very impatient with my polish. You're going to need a thick topcoat on this one, otherwise the chunky glitter may flake off. Here's the proof that this polish is cray cray:

Rainbow Honey's Yokai Collection

Today I have a special treat for you. This is my second full collection review! It's also my first try at taking mani pics in my homemade light box. I think I got the hang of it for the most part. Without further ado, here is the limited edition Yokai Collection by Rainbow Honey, available as of Oct. 13th 2012.

"The Limited Edition Yokai Collection - inspired by some of my favorite mythical creatures" - RH

First up is
Kitsune
""Kitsune" can refer to your ordinary red fox, but our "Kitsune" is a glorious nine-tailed creature: fiery, wise, and absolutely gorgeous. In a cream base full of gold shimmer and flecks you will find an array of glitter in a bonfire palette, ready to spark a fire in your heart." - RH
Think something along these lines:

This polish is just amazing. A blingy nude that borders on glamorous. A great way to wear a nude polish without it being boring. There's even a bit of holo orange glitter in there, and you know how happy holo makes me. This is 3 coats, with topcoat. Opaque in 2 coats.

With an experimental mattified ring finger. I don't suggest it; it takes away from everything that makes this polish special.

Overall Grade:
A

Next we have
Kawako

""Kawako" is our interpretation of the Kappa, depicted as everything from a water sprite to a river demon. Erring on the gentler side, "Kawako" is full of gorgeous silver and ice blue shimmer, with the occasional iridescent blue flake. " - RH
This is Kappa:

This was the first polish I tested in the collection. I was amazed at the opacity! Opaque in 1 coat, perfect in 2. There are indeed a few flakes here and there but on the nail, they are obstructed by the thick opaque base. However all of the micro silver sparkles shine through brilliantly. This polish is like a night sky. I had a bit of trouble photographing this one, but I'm sure you can get an idea of what it looks like from the pictures. 2 coats, and a topcoat.

 Here it is mattified.

 Lastly is
Oni
"Let's be honest, Oni are generally depicted as wicked and hideous. Our "Oni" may be wicked and supernatural, but with its myriad of glass flecks and multi-chromatic shimmer it is hard to call it hideous. In fact, the consensus seems to be that it is one of the most beautiful and intense polishes out there this fall!" - RH
Here is Oni:

This one is the least opaque of the bunch and will need 2-3 coats. Over a nice black you might only need 1. I love that this polish looks simple but when you get up close and personal with it, pink and multi-color sparks emerge. 3 coats, and a topcoat.

 Oni mattified, love it!

Overall Grade:
B+

  My favorite of the bunch?
Kitsune!
Are you surprised that the one with holo glitters is my favorite?!

These polishes are all great for fall! Check them out here!
