Lucky 13's Bone Daddy

Here's the first in a series of 4 polishes from Lucky 13 Lacquer. The collection is inspired by The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Today's polish is Bone Daddy, which is described as follows: "Ultra-fine white hex, small white squares, medium black hex, and small black square glitters, like Jack's characteristic suit,". It really does look just like Jack. Formula was perfect. Very very easy, instant nail art. Topcoat if you want a glassy finish, but I left it without to give it a cool textured feel.

To keep with the Halloween theme, I put this over an orange. This is over Sun Worshiper by China Glaze. A little bright for this mani but it's definitely Halloween. Ignore the ugly Cheeto-ish smudge up my finger. That kinds stuff isn't visible until it gets under the natural lighting. And I wasn't about to go back inside to fix it. Haha. Well here it is!

Amazing Confusing Package

So I've been on a bit of a no-buy lately. Trying to save money since I got laid off. So imagine my surprise when I got a package from Orly. I don't know how they got my address (never ordered from them before), or why they sent the package to me (is it a prize for something? Was it sent to review?), all I know is that I'm thrilled. They sent the whole Feel The Vibe collection of neons. On the packing slip in the "Bill To:" section, is Orly's address. I'm so so so confused. I wasn't contacted in advance about this, and there was no explanation in the box. Has this ever happened to anyone?? I emailed them to get to the bottom of this, I'll keep you guys updated. Pics of the spoils:

Bayou Blitz and Floam

Today's post is on two indie polishes. I originally intended for the two polishes to be in two separate swatch posts, but then I didn't post on the 4th of July, and I got to looking at these two polishes. They're not actually that much different! They fit well with each other. I tried a mani using both but I was not in any mood for that this morning for some reason. So I tried a pedi. Yes my toes are awkward and stubby. But they're covered in Floam! And Blitz! With a basecoat of Sally Hansen Insta Dri "Mint Sprint". I'm Feeling Nail-venturous's famous Floam on my little toes, and Pretty & Polished's Bayou Blitz on my big toe. Check it out!

 Love the large neon hexes in Bayou Blitz. BB also glows under black-light!

And it came with a nice little business card! How cute.
